Eye Awakening
Birch is an unmotivated adult who tends to isolate and disassociate from his regular life. However, Beau, the creature that resides in his eye, is social and energetic, leaving the two to conflict over their everyday life. These are some beatboards that I created for this story.
The Fool's Gambit
I was assigned the second act of our film, which is all about Chuckle and Har's argument as they bicker over each other's jobs. This section, while dialogue driven, was fun to include silly character moments between the two in order to show just how at odds they are.
The Little Florist
For a collaboration class, the story was about a cat who drives cuustomers away from his owner's flower shop. When he realizes his actions, he tries to help tidy up the shop and help out. We started with rough storyboards to gain story ideas and potential shots, after it was handed off to another team to clean them up. The portion I storyboarded was where he helps out during the night when his owner sleeps.
Ace of Hearts
Ace of Hearts follows Raine as they close up the cafe for the night, but her friend and his horrible friends stay past closing. After they rudely try to flirt with her, she is driven by revenge to drive them out of the shop.
Golden Opportunity
Golden Opportunity was a group project involving the story of a Chinchilla thief named Felix who goes into a Mafia Boss's mansion to steal a golden jewel. However, the jewel turns out to be an egg that is the son of the mafia boss who hatches and imprints on Felix. This is my portion of the storyboard I did where Felix gets captured and the Mafia Boss tries to reconnect with his son.
The Tortoise and the Hare
For a class assignment, we were given the prompt of the Tortoise of the Hare. The main plot points had to remain the same, however we could change the story as we pleased. In my version, Truffle and Harriet are friends with opposing views on how they go about their lives and settle the matter on a race.
